Better than most jobs

Pros

A flexible schedule (for the most part), creating lifetime memories for families, getting to know your clients on a personal level

Cons

Upper management is TERRIBLE! Trying to move up within the company is almost near impossible. Favoritism is VERY apparent. Though this is dependent on who is the district manager is.

Terrible, lied to at orientation

Pros

Get paid from the moment you leave your house and get a gas card

Cons

At orientation, I was told I would be full time. I barely made part time, and was let go 3 weeks later because they were "slow" with no unemployment or time notice. The manager was very rude when she told me and got my equipment. The equipment is 200 lbs and you keep it in your car. Since I was new, I had to haul, set up, and tear down all the equipment by myself every time. They didn't train well either.

Pros

Easy job, Benefits were ok, Usually off early, Boss was a very nice person. Thats the only good things I can think of.

Cons

I was brought on as part of an acquisition of another company. They kept my pay the same. I worked for 6 months the whole time believing that my job was secure them telling me how great a place it is to work and how great the ESOP is. Anyway they used me as long as they needed me then they did the normal November layoff and told me I could come back in February for spring pictures. I called them at the end of January and they told me they didn't have a job for me. Nothing offered not a severance nothing. They led me to believe I had a career with them then let me go. They basically lied to me they are very dishonest. The management do not care about you, all they care about is making sure they get the biggest share of the ESOP they can for themselves. Work here only if nothing else is available. If I were a school principal I would never use them as my school photographer their product is inferior and their costumer service sucks. They lead you to believe its the greatest job but they use you while its busy then cut you loose as soon as they possibly can. There only thought is to how much you cost them. I feel I was stabbed in the back by them I went 3 months believing I had a job to go back to at least the could have told me the truth from the beginning and just said we have no intention of keeping you past this year, so I could have been more prepared and found another job. Work for them if you want to, but don't expect honesty or believe that you will have a future with them.
