Poor leadership/management - many of the people in these positions lack training. Salaries for office staff are way below market rate. Very toxic work environment.

you'll more than likely work overtime; manufacturing environment with 3 shifts, team depends on the manufacturing plant you end up in and/or the production line you work on unless it's a corporate role which I can't speak to, poor retirement plan (no employer contributions)

Linamar is an auto parts manufacturer that puts corporate profitability before work environment, safety and employee retention. The transportation division is a high-stress, confrontational workplace that operates by intimidation, outright lies and broken promises. They will push and push until a driver gives in. They treat drivers like slaves and should be grateful that Linamar even allows them to be employed. There is not a day that an employee doesn't walk out of the building either furious or in tears.

Too many to list them all. General Manager berates people during meetings, other managers undermine each other, employees expected to use all of their vacation time during shutdown and the rest is unpaid. Employees expected to take work home with them that is unpaid. They don’t accept more than 2 sick days per despite government regulations. They expect you to lie to customers and auditors. By far the worst benefits package in the industry. Very toxic and stressful work environment.
