Pros
Helping people is awesome. The job will truly challenge you. There is always work to be done, so you will never be bored. I initially 6 months after I started gave a glowing 4 star review. Recent events have changed my opinion.
Cons
Long hours (I recently worked from 8 am to 1230 midnight because 3 o2 setups, a nebulizer setup, and a bed setup came in at 5 and i was on call.) Rotating on call. Lately management has made it abundantly clear that while they preach to be patient advocates and "The caring choice" this couldnt be farther from the truth. It all comes down to money. SRs are expected to do inhuman amounts of work and still be done by 5. Everyone else bolts out at 5 pm and damn the service reps. Two of our 3 reps already have new jobs and i am looking and have one on the back burner. The new linde leadership is a joke.
