Pros

The staff there really do care about the patients and attempt to provide excellent service

Cons

Not enough staff per center, no appreciation from upper management - regardless of how hard you work or how well you do; the more you do...the more they want; management not personable and do not take the time to know their employees; NO Christmas bonuses (not even a turkey); patient care "preached," but bottom line and $$$ is company's true concern; no empthay from upper mgmt regarding personal time, death in families, etc. Expectations are way too high for the amount of staff in centers; you will NEVER hear "thank you - job well done" from upper mgmt. If you are not in "the click" of upper mgmt, you do not matter. Fairness is NOT across the board. Who you KNOW and who LIKES you...matters and you are not judged on your performance as an employee. Their pay scale across the board is NOT competitive. You pay for your mileage and expenses up front...you are reimburses in their sweet time. Not competitive in gas mileage reimbursement, bonus structure. VERY HIGH staff turn over rate in this company.

Pros

My local office and patients keep me going. Great teamwork, wonderful, down to earth center manager who has somewhat realistic expectations because he " jumps in and gets his hands dirty" just like the rest of us..... at least until corporate pressure negatively influences his values. Flexibilty. The day goes fast because you are so busy doing the work of at least 2 people everyday.

Cons

##############'s and $$$$$$$$$$$ They utilize backbone staffing, and limit supplies. Expect growth but centers don't have enough supplies/equipment or staff to provide to patients. Most negative company I've ever worked for in 20 yrs. Destroys your self-esteem. Nothing is ever good enough. Losing a high number of patients to death is no reason not to make your #'s. No opportunity for advancement unless you want to move. Poor income.

Pros

Gives an insight into the medical device market. You get to see the dark underbelly of how physicians expect to have their back scratched just to get a 5 minute sit down.

Cons

Area Manager was a nightmare. She consistently undermined the office staff and even sent an office wide email saying she thought an employee should be let go, which the employee read. There wasn't any training to speak of even though we were supposed to serve a critical role in the health of our clients. Our deliveries covered a massive geographical area with only one driver and then had complaints from the Area Manager that our deliveries were too slow. Safety concerns were raised several times so they sent the safety rep for the company to go over a 500 page manual in an afternoon, then when he left the Area Manager said the guy was basically an idiot and not to worry about safety.
