Pros

-Learn new skills and new programs. -The programs offered can be very helpful for students. -Clinicians do an awesome job at being creative and interactive with students

Cons

-Poor organization as a whole -Upper management lacks support for workers-doesn't receive feedback from them or implement changes that would make things better for everyone. -Focus is often on making sales, getting students and not on their own staff. -No real organization with how the company is ran, creating a lot of chaotic and high stress situations. -Often workers feel overwhelmed and the need to work overtime, breaks don't happen and there is no over-site with this.

Pros

Ability to be able to be creative during sessions, flexibility in how to teach programs. Rewarding to see growth in students

Cons

Hard to work with upper management, clinician role felt inferior to “pacers” and “consultants” - very disorganized work space, not enough pay for how much they charge families ($16/hr vs $130/hr)

Pros

Amazing people, unparalleled programs, such great potential to grow.

Cons

There is a stress and a demand placed on the “sales” teams that is completely unrealistic and often unhealthy. There’s no real motivation and unfortunately, you lose the opportunity to focus on the reason you started in the first place which is the students. There’s no time to focus on them bc of all the ever-changing, and ever-increasing demand. (Clinicians, most center leaders will be sure you enjoy what you do- it’s the positions behind the curtain that open your eyes to the rest.)
