Pros
Some of the kids are great and it's helpful to round out one's skills as an educator. You'll be working with dyslexic students as well as students on the spectrum, which is very helpful in terms of experience.
Cons
It's dependent on the consultants and management, but the environment can be highly stressful. For the work involved (8 hours of undiluted instruction), the pay is quite low. For the summer of 2018, I was offered $18 as a clinician - not bad, but not exactly fair for the sometimes grueling work required.
