Absolutely no job security. Does not matter if someone continously year over year received an above average performance review or how they advanced thru the organization. In a blink of an eye you can be gone. They do not lay off. They just eliminate the position and sever you from the company. I have seen this done to numerous professionals with many years of service and significant contributions to the company.

Management has become a bit out of control and out of touch. Deadlines are unrealistic. If you aren’t a “chosen one”, you will never be rewarded. Some discipline manager in specific may hold too much power and get away with offensive and harassing behavior who works underneath the group manager whom doesn’t know what is going on outside of his door or spreadsheet. Benefits have slowly been deteriorated. Used to be a well-known and great place to work in western New York. Believe me and many others whom still work there, not anymore. If you find yourself here in project execution, get your experience, watch out for yourself and your family, and do not hesitate to take a better offer with another company, they are out there.
