Fast-paced, exciting work, but poor work-life balance.

Pros

Excellent pay and benefits, especially for early career professionals. Working in operations, you have a lot of autonomy and responsibility as you would in a small company, but the technical and financial support of a large corporation. Truly great people at the ground level, up through middle management. Good opportunities to move around the country (if that's what you want). Felt a lot of pride in what I did and had a close bond with my colleagues.

Cons

Poor work-life balance, especially in operations at the plant sites. Often times working month long projects including weekends and on call during regular business. Often times working outdoors, usually in bad weather. Vacation policy is not impressive compared to other European owned businesses.

Work life balance, friendly and fun place to work

Cons

Germans took over the structure, making the policies unattainable. Does not give good raises, unless you have another offer.
