Pros

. Work-at-home . Lionbridge training and testing promotes high-quality work. .On-boarding staff were helpful--nice that they personally signed emails . . I appreciated the ability to comment on the rationale behind my ad evaluations. . Production standards seemed reasonable. . I enjoy the work. It's like solving fun puzzles. Logic and analysis play a factor.

Cons

. The pay seemed* low* compared to a similar job I worked last year. I almost make more on unemployment but wish I were still working. . No notice before termination, even though my quality scores were high . The offshore ads support staff falsely accused me of fudging my hours and failed to acknowledge the courteous email I sent in response. . I was signed up to the company 401k plan without giving permission, so my personal information was shared with Fidelity, a company whose ethics seem questionable. . I had to pay 20% taxes on the 401K funds--unfair and exploitative for a position advertised as permanent. . The ads support people seem less than competent and professional, and might be machines based on their behavior. Both Google and Lionbridge seem to treat employees as disposable. The work amount and duration is unreliable. . You deserve better. Find a company that values you, treats you like a human being, and pays a living wage. Based on working in this position at Lionbridge, your long-term online, cellphone, and digital privacy well may be compromised. . Minimal benefits

Thank you for your feedback. It's great to know that you find fulfillment and balance in your work for Lionbridge. Your comments about 401k contributions and taxes are inconsistent with how you were onboarded. We'd be happy to investigate further, and welcome you to follow up with us directly. - Lionbridge CEO

Pros

New CEO seems to know what he is doing.

Cons

10 years with a net 3% decrease in pay for the same position. Not a single evaluation through the years, making the salary changes complete surprises. At my management level I should have been more informed on Strategy.

Pros

The staff is young. Snacks are free.

Cons

This place is miserable. Management is oblivious to their favoritism, as well as the most unqualified people are managing teams. IF you have a pretty face or curvy waist, you will succeed here. IF you are willing to be walked over and made to feel small, this job is for you. My former manager admitted to breaking down multiple times in the bathroom because of how bad upper management mistreats the staff. This place is hands down the most miserable place to work, you will never be valued unless you fall under the categories mentioned above.
