Pros

Some excellent technical folks in the ranks Growing company, but depending on how it is handled this could turn into a con Work is local, so no travel is expected, which is hard to find in consulting Profitable companies are happy companies

Cons

All depends on the team/client you get put on. Staff aug model still exists even though they try to sell it as project work. Bargain bin rates and low margin. Will tell you what you want to hear. As growth continues more egomaniacs are being created. Some of the leaders are not genuine. They basically have 2 huge clients (Independence Blue Cross and Vanguard), all the other stuff fills in the holes. I shouldn't have to tell you this, but you do NOT want to work for IBX.

Pros

Dynamic work force, tuned into technology trends, aggressive growth strategies, onboarding collegues who give support to solutions-based growth vs. legacy staff aug mentality

Cons

Much of senior management still stuck in staff aug mentality and reluctant to invest in foundations required to support the projected growth of company.
