      Pros

      There is no good reason to work here, except maybe your co-workers. I made some good friends here.

      Cons

      No work-life balance, expectation was come in early, stay late, work Saturdays. Vacation time could be earned but if you took any it was seen as a negative. Lots of internal politics and back stabbing. Opportunities for promotion were based more on who you knew than actual performace.

      Pros

      Good place to start in automotive sales... training is reasonable, pay is fair in comparison to other automotive sales positions and good health care benifits are available.

      Cons

      Work hours are long and time off is not encouraged ( only closed for two holidays in sales Thanksgiving and Christmas). There is no consideration of a balance of work and personal time in an employees life by Lithia ... being overworked or burnt out is common in many job titles. Training is not continued for growth and there is rarley good feed back given.

      Pros

      I think Lithia motors is a good place to start your career in sales, because this company will provide good training and a feedback on your performance. Also, it is better to choose an hourly wage rather than a commission when you just started. Probably one of the best jobs for those who are still in high school or attending college. There are also some opportunities for growth, since it is a corporate dealership.

      Cons

      Of course, expect some drama over customers with your coworkers, but it is a part of this business...Though , when there are no customers, the job becomes quite boring.
