Pros
The staff at Live Nation is a great bunch of people. Management is easy going and personable and there is a real drive to keep everyone upbeat and cohesive. Hours are great, especially if you're a night person and the opportunities to see all different types of live entertainment makes going to work an adventure. There are opportunities to move upward if you can prove yourself and they are very flexible about lateral moves and sharing staff between departments. If you show an interest in learning the business, they are happy to accomodate. Major changes have taken place in the last few years and it just keeps getting better. Even part time employees are offered an insurance option.
Cons
At the outdoor venues, weather can be really awful. Security staff isn't always on the same page with the venues' rules and needs but that's not the fault of Live Nation.
