Pros
Lots of independence, almost no micro managing. As long as you have it together and work hard, you'll be just fine. Navigating your way through the structure can be slightly difficult but it's no different than learning new things at any other job.
Cons
A fair amount of inter-company competition, but that also keeps you hungry and on-point, so, a couple different ways to look at it.
