After a round of layoffs in November 2022, in July 2023, we were made aware of the offshore strategy where US employees would begin to be laid off and a company in India would begin to setup offices there that would replace those US employees. We were told this process of layoffs will span the length of multiple years and company leaders did not have details about what teams/individuals will be affected.
These layoffs have continued to happen every quarter and management refuses to provide any details about who was affected each time - hiding behind the "out of respect for those impacted" line. It is very difficult to function at a high level with this hanging over all employees' heads and we are only 6 months in to the multiple years!
Another round of these secret layoffs happened again yesterday. It is so discouraging to be left completely in the dark about something that affects all teams.
