Great place to grow your career

Pros

The company is growing exponentially, which always creates plenty of opportunity, but there are some other things more specific to Liveramp that make this a great place to work... - Strong focus on developing people and promoting internally; not just words, its built into the very culture of the company - Also a strong focus on empowering people at any level to make decisions and take risks; the company would rather move things forward quickly as opposed to perfectly, and wants people to take risks - Everyone doesn't always agree, but everyone communicates openly and honestly; no pollitics - People genuinely like each other; tons of social activity inside and outside of work - Strong leadership team, who goes out of their way to connect with people throughout the company - Competitive compensation

Cons

The company moves at a very (very) fast pace; that's good for some people but not for others. Given this, things can sometimes feel a little frenetic / exhausting. Benefits outside of compensation could also be better (they're not bad, just not on par with some other high growth companies)

A company you want to love

Pros

A lot of growth potential. Some very bright people. Company doing cool things. New senior leaders. Independence in many departments. Trying hard to maintain original culture - does that scale?

Cons

Not a lot of structure or processes - though it's being worked on. Very little direction which can lead to confusion about what you should be working on. Varying opinions creating a standstill. Losing its original culture. Young inexperienced employees.

Pros

The people here are some of the most collaborative, ambitious, friendly, creative, earnest and incredible people I have ever worked with. They are hard working and supportive, and I've never felt more part of a team than I have with them. I have friends across all departments -- LiveRamp has a strong company culture that makes it easy to say hi to people I've never met, and encourages inclusiveness and inquisitiveness across teams and beyond titles. No heavy handed management either -- just trust and responsibility. The food is also delicious, and the company events are fantastic. Amazing upwards and horizontal mobility; lots of the employees here have moved around departments finding what they like best.

Cons

I've had some major issues with clarity around expectations in my role. I think so much of this is because the roles and expectations and products are in such a state of growth and flux that it's hard to pin down something for longer than a few weeks, but I've had a serious problem getting feedback from management until it's too late. There's a fine line between trusting your team and not communicating when an employee needs guidance, and I think this is definitely something I wish LiveRamp had more of a grasp on.
