A fast-paced company at the center of it all

Pros

- LiveRamp sits at the center of the adtech ecosystem, making it an incredibly interesting and fast-paced place to work. - Everyone tends to be on the hard worker end of the spectrum, but the emphasis here is on finding ways to work smarter. While that phrase is pretty ambiguous, in practical terms that means that we're given a lot of freedom and support to work on projects that automate repetitive processes, cut down on communication silos, and increase our ability to serve more clients more, um, better. - The people are as smart and driven as they are fun to work (and party) with!

Cons

- The hours can be pretty long and the learning curve is very steep. - We don't always put people in positions that will make the best use of their talents and/or personality, and can be slow to identify and resolve those instances. - Problems aren't always resolved until they are escalated, which in the long run could create a culture of ALL CAPS, if you know what I mean.

Overall Great Place to Work

Pros

+Incredibly smart people. Sometimes, this can be daunting but also offers up opportunities to learn. +Almost everyone is incredibly nice. +Everyone is hungry to learn, grow the company, and grow themselves. You will hear people always asking for more feedback, especially constructive. It's not uncommon to see people here very late, not because it's expected, but because they want to be. +Empowered to make your own decisions. +Amazing culture and great perks. +Work at fast-pace. +CEO is heavily focused on maintaining the culture. +Flexible and trusting of employees. Just don't break that trust! +Your growth is yours to take control of - you must be independent in order to do well here.

Cons

-Can feel the bigger company attitude starting to seep in. -Higher level management is too involved in all decisions, feels like groups cannot make important decisions on their own. -Execs have never worked anywhere else, which shows sometimes. -Losing sense of transparency and slowly becoming more bureaucratic. -Competing priorities across teams can be frustrating, but this is normal.

Expectations have been exceeded

Pros

-Culture is a top priority and continuing discussion for the company. -When something sucks, we fix it. For example, we do company surveys about lunch preferences, and if we're not happy with a current provider, we change it to a better one. -Management listens and there is open communication. For example, we have short weekly all hands meetings and our CEO openly and candidly answers anonymous questions each week. -Room for growth. Everyone is expected to be a top performer, and when you perform well it is recognized and rewarded. -Small company vibe with big company benefits. We operate like a hot SF tech start up because we are a hot SF tech start up. But we have the added benefit of being backed by a mature public company

Cons

This isn't the kind of company where you can come in and can expect to have 1:1 coaching and guidance for every project or decision you will need to make. You're expected to make decisions fast, have good judgment, and communicate. You're expected to proactively reach out and ask for guidance and ask questions when you need them. May not be a good fit if you're not comfortable with this.
