Pros

Great feedback, builds Customer Service and sales skills Lunch on Weekends Great treatment and favoritism if youre a top seller Decent environment (changes each store) Better starting pay rate

Cons

Commission stress without the Commission pay Favoritism Sales drama like Commission Environment High turn over Bait and Switch hiring, over promising and under delivering Not a lot of room for growth into corperate Dangling bonus buy monthly team performance (only some storea bonus each month) If managers dont like you the treat you so poor that you either quit, pin you with documentation of having a bad attitude, or pull you off the floor and talk down about yiur performance to force you into a corner and quit (seen this first hand) Small yearly increases to salary even for high performers

Pros

Health benefits. Only for full time. Lunches on the weekend but they aren't so good. Hmm i can't say much else.

Cons

Constant drama between associates. Work harder than commission based jobs but no commission. The dangling carrot bonus. It's always just out of reach. Complete favoritism towards some employees. Management will do nothing to create a positive environment. All issues are looked over or swept under the rug. Drive sales and put so much pressure on guests. Crappy quality products lots of broken furniture on the sales floor. Sloppy employees and they seem to hire smokers. No breaks unless to just walk off the floor and don't ask. The constant badgering of management through a walkie in your ear to find a guest and sell them something. We get told how many cars are in the parking lot, they have counters over the door to count how many fur walk in and expect us to collect $200 from each guest. That includes babies in strollers and families. It's truly madness. Employees fighting with each other over sales cause it's so cutthroat to meet your hourly sales goal. If you can tough it out it's good for your resume otherwise keep looking. Just be ready for chaos and drama and nightmares that wake you all the time. Depression and anxiety will begin to rule your world.

Pros

The weekend lunch is probably the only pro I find in this company... and the semi okay co workers that I'm friends with

Cons

First off, the management is NO HELP with their so called "leads." They're supposed to show leadership, not be aggressive & compete with us. The pay is bad for how much we put in, unless the company bonuses each month, which is rare. And to add the cherry on top this ridiculous high "sales per hour" is nonsense. + the fact that we have to tell customers we're "non commission" when little do they know our numbers still count!!!!! Don't recommend this job. Stay away
