Poor Sales Culture

Pros

Pay can be very lucrative if you're a top performer. Good delivery of product from operations. Many unique solutions for clients.

Cons

No consistent rules around territories with favoritism playing a huge role in decisions. All of the sales organization has complained about how rules aren't followed, but the President seems like the chaos. Negative work environment with back stabbing and low morale. No upward mobility or career path for sales.

Needs lots of improvements

Pros

Pay and benefits are okay. They have a program which they pay for to get you licensed. New CEO is really doing his best to turn the company in the right direction. They helped a lot of their employees during the tragic hurricane.

Cons

Management and morale needs major improvement. Not much of a work and life balance. Lot of favoritism. Promotions and raises aren't always dispersed when warranted. They've lost a lot of great people in the last 2 years

Export Department

Pros

You get a paycheck. It's small, but it is money coming in. The employees support each other (otherwise they wouldnt make it through the day)

Cons

If you value yourself, and have any self esteem or pride in your work, management sees it as a threat. The micromanagement is stifling, and inhibits progress. It is low pay for the responsibilites of the position. The employee morale is, well, there isn't any. Pinching pennies is a perfected art form here, with cleaners rolling in maybe twice a year to clean the offices. There is black dirt and grime all over the HVAC vents, which is probably not healthy. Unless you have absolutely no other options, don't work here in Export. Other departments are a littl better.
