Pros

Great people and personalities, hiring teams do well. The work atmosphere is also enjoyable and the company actively tries to take care of employee's. Build and ship quite often and learn good practices with a openness for change and improvement. Decent pay and OK perks. Lots of openness for lateral movement and lots of ecommerce business units to be able to work on.

Cons

Can get mixed up in the politics of a giant retail corp since working relations cross over from tech startup to corporate slower moving and older working models and leadership. Often hard to avoid top down initiatives and the feeling of working together is far more difficult greater then working together, in regards to the interaction between the parent company.

encouraging atmosphere, monthly events and hackathons encouraging employees to work in different departments, contribute ideas for the progress of the company

Cons

Due to my hiring during a transitional period, I believe I missed out on some training wheels that could have benefited in the long term. However, the support I received in every project was great and encouraging.
