      Easy to Get Fired and Become a Cost Savings

      Pros

      Pretty decent pay, lots of relatively normal, well-adjusted people, nice parties, privately held company doesn't nickel and dime on expenses

      Cons

      The new model seems to be have a handful of people on a secret committee make all the decisions and staff the company with a bunch of young people who just take orders. Being older and well paid means you have a target on your back - even well-respected, capable people aren't safe from being cut or demoted for no reason other than they have been around long enough to make good money
