Recognition doesn't always reflect the contributions of the entire team. In my experience, visibility and credit were often concentrated among a small group of employees, while many others who consistently delivered significant work behind the scenes received little acknowledgment.
Leadership places a strong emphasis on executive presence, communication style, and coaching. While those are important, I often felt that experience, institutional knowledge, ownership, and results were undervalued in comparison.

Global teams contribute significantly to the company's success, but in my experience, recognition and visibility were not always distributed equitably. Employees outside the U.S. can sometimes feel that their contributions are less visible despite carrying substantial responsibility.
