Pros

The Sweet Spot for passionate product manager in consumer electronics. Ability to design cool product experiences that consumer use everyday. Small enough company to have an impact, large enough to have great design and engineering capabilities

Cons

Risk Adverse. Tend to be cautious about new categories. And slow at times because of the consensus building culture in certain part of the company.

Pros

Executive management is motivated and trying hard to bring the company around. Work and life balance is decent for the most part and there are some really great people there. Have some really incredible products in music and gaming.

Cons

For every great person there are four mediocre ones which frustrate the efforts to change. For every great product there are four mediocre ones. Too many of the employees are 10-4 with 2 hour lunch types and content with the status quo making it feel like a slowly sinking ship. Bay Area is too hot to retain the good talent because of all of this. No career development and few possibilities of advancement.
