Pros

Management is always willing to listen and help and there are opportunities for growth professionally and personally. I also value the flexibility and supervisors respecting that we have lives outside of work. Overall, it is a good experience.

Cons

Management can be a tad bit better at communicating with employees. Job postings should include all responsibilities that you will be doing. And benefits are so expensive. Is there a way to acquire health insurance with losing on 5,000 a year?? I opted out but it would be nice to have health insurance.

Pros

What I value the most about working at LIU is the Leadership, organization and growth opportunities. LIU is constantly working on improving providing the best service. LIU always works as a team, and I have had a great experience here.

Cons

We need more staff, success coaches, full-time receptionists and work-study's at both campuses.

Pros

"Long Island University has been an incredible place for professional growth, collaboration, and meaningful contributions. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside talented colleagues and be part of a dynamic environment that values both athletics and academics. The experience has helped me develop skills that go beyond athletics, allowing me to make a real impact. LIU provides a platform to be creative, solve problems, and contribute to something bigger than myself. While every organization has areas to improve, the university’s commitment to its students and programs is evident. Continued investment in staff support and long-term development would only enhance the positive environment already in place. I’m grateful for the experiences and relationships built here and look forward to seeing LIU continue to thrive. It’s a place where hard work is recognized, and there’s always an opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference. "

Cons

"LIU has been a great place to grow professionally. Continued investment in staff support and development would make it even stronger. "
