Pros

Tuition Remission Benefit for employee and family members. Some very nice people work here.

Cons

The majority of administration have their titles due to seniority and for no other reason. I witnessed my superiors engage in a large amount of completely unprofessional behavior . Many are not guided by core principles of student development; even worse, they provide little to no support to their subordinates. Pay is not commensurate with national averages. It was difficult to maintain motivation when feeling under-appreciated and unsupported by management. Students with influential parents are allowed to get away with unspeakable behavior against their fellow students and staff.

Used to be wonderful

Pros

Faculty and staff are generally wonderful and care about their jobs.

Cons

Used to be a wonderful place to work, but most-recently in the past year has gone from okay go downright awful. Support staff with many years experience getting laid off with zero notice in an effort to "reorganize and control the budget." My department runs on a skeleton crew with zero margin for error (or sickness) now that we've lost several people. Academic departments have been left without secretaries, with faculty members with no idea how to function. Morale is at the lowest I've seen it in the years I've worked there. Pay is awful, barely enough to survive on, and more often than not, not enough to survive on.
