Great place to get your IT career off the ground

Pros

Great staff, great co-workers and camaraderie. Offers plenty of certification training as well as paying for testing. Can move up within IT fairly easily provided you have the gumption to do so. If you're content staying in your role you can do so as well.

Cons

When oil and gas fell, they laid off 40% of the staff. This meant people were doing work for three. It became too stressful. It became about the numbers more so than the people. In addition to that, nepotism was rampant. If you weren't on the good side of a manager, forget about your life there. You were an outcast and would stay that way. Fortunately for me it wasn't the case, but I could see it happening to others.

We are sad to see you go, but we are happy that you appreciated your colleagues, our team atmosphere and how we place an emphasis on training and certifications while you were here. We are disappointed to hear of your guess at what percentage of our workforce was laid off, though. 40% is not correct. Let's fix that for you! Pros

My favorite employer of all time- they go above and beyond to ensure their employees are well taken care of. They treat you like family and the environment is easy and fun. They way they treat their people is felt in the customer experience and ends up being a plus for delivery

Cons

Hours can be long and when it's busy... it's really busy. New hire training isn't great but you learn as you go.
