Longroad Energy has an employee rating of 4.0 out of 5 stars, based on 17 company reviews on Glassdoor which indicates that most employees have a good working experience there. The Longroad Energy employee rating is in line with the average (within 1 standard deviation) for employers within the Energy, Mining & Utilities industry (3.7 stars).
-Longroad has a positive and aggressive growth outlook, which leads to a lot of top performers and growth opportunities for top performers
-Pay and benefits are at market levels or slightly above market
-Management is well organized and does a good job at identifying top performers and areas to improve. Everyone is humble and ready to make business changes quickly when deemed necessary. The leadership team is approachable and really listens to all employees and takes suggestions seriously. It's easy for any employee to make an impact on the business.
-Culture and engagement is pretty good considering most employees are fully remote or hybrid.
Cons
-Sometimes it is hard to interface with other employees given the remote work. I know very little about what employees outside of my department are doing. I wish there was an annual company gathering or something similar to meet co-workers whose jobs are a mystery to me.

Thank you for your feedback. I encourage you to join our quarterly WAFFLE Coffee Chats, which are a great way to connect with employees from different departments. We also offer a Mentoring Program to help expand your network, and our Employee Resource Groups host activities, both virtual and in-person. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out; I’d be happy to provide more details.
Leadership trusts you to make good decisions and empowers you to implement. Everyone is focused on the mission to deliver clean energy from top to bottom. Information sharing is better than any place I have worked. I haven't seen any silos between departments, people seem to genuinely like working together and are always willing to help.
Cons
None that I have experienced.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We’re so glad to hear you feel empowered and supported, and we’ll continue to prioritize transparent communication through town halls and beyond.
Good pay, work-life balance, purpose, and culture.
Cons
Somewhat limited training.
Small tight knit group (has it's pros and cons).
Rather than technical complexity, the role's main challenges are managerial in nature. (Can be a pro or a con depending on your skillset.)
