Pros

the benefits packages for, especially for managers, was pretty competitive compared to other retailers. the bonus packages used to be awesome but have been reworked in the past few years and are much harder to reach now.

Cons

so many cons.....hours and scheduling, especially for managers is ridiculous ( 60 + hours per week on a revolving schedule) - definitely makes having any type of family life ( other than stressful) almost impossible; inconsistancy in following policies and procedures - compliance and interpretation depends on what store/district managers you have...some are all business and most don't have a clue; training for "advancement" is a joke...mostly consists of "team building" exercises...how about some real hands on, relevant training; favoritism is rampant in all stores...just look at how raises are given; I can go on and on and on....

Pros

The benefit package and vacation time are better than most in my area. If you start in a full time positin you have it made.

Cons

Most positions start as a seasonal or on a part time basis. Chances for full time appear to be slim in most stores. Very minimal guaranteed hours in the fall and winter months.
