Pros

Lowes is a very rewarding job. You get to meet interesting people.Lowes. has a great stock purchase plan and 401k. As a sales specialist you can earn commsion on items that you sell in the following departments: Millwork, flooring, contractor sales, appliances, and outdoor power equipment. In appliances you recieve commsion on all sales, but in other departments you only get paid on special orders.

Cons

Heavy lifting and meeting interesting people. Your employers will ask a lot of you. Managment is almsot like runing a day care. you get a lot of high school kids and they can be inmature at best.

Pros

If you can get along with a few people and have a few friends to talk to it is not to bad, but most of the time trying to have my associates work is hard and management doesnt do anything about it. also nothing at that store is communicated to each other .

Cons

no communication with the managers

Pros

It is just a job until you can find better employment. Very little in the form of pay increases so ask for more than you think they will pay when you apply. employee moral is always low because they never hire enough employees to cover the floor. Most of management are good people and good to work for because they dislike there job more than most. there is no fairness in who gets promoted because it is usually done by the buddy system(ass kissers) but Lowes will pay just enough to get you from week to week but always keep looking for better opportunities.

Cons

Late night and very few weekends off
