Pros

I enjoyed my time at Lowell General, I was initially hired to work on the Neuro Step Down (PCU) but later changed to the Cardiac Step Down (Dahod 4). The hospital faces the same staffing challenges as other hospitals in the area however we never were mandated, or asked to take an unsafe assignment. The staff that do work at FTE are excellent and overall the floors tend to have a low turnover rate.

Cons

PCU is in need of some serious upgrading in terms of the patient rooms, pay could be better although they did just give a large raise based on years worked. Don't know if this translates to a higher rate for incoming staff.
