Rough patches feel over

Pros

- Great communication - Transparency - Work life balance - Important work - Great managers and leadership now - Great clients - Leadership is listening

Cons

We had layoffs last year but we've now been very stable and the new leadership has really been transparent and treats us like adults. I'm much happier now than I was before the layoffs.

Pros

The people at the bottom of the totem pole. Work from home.

Cons

Promotions and raises were always dangled just out of reach. Pay was way below market rate. Two rounds of layoffs back to back. After the first round everyone was told, "This is the team we're going to the moon with". Not long after, 40 something people were laid off and their jobs sent offshore. Leaving the remaining developers to become baby-sitters.
