Pros
Lucid is growing quickly and in it’s infancy in many behind the scenes aspects; there’s a possibility that the work someone accomplishes in two years will eclipse the work someone completes in five years at a more established company. The stepping stone that this company can be for someone’s career is monumental with the different projects, teams and areas of the business that you get exposure too.
Cons
Because there are opportunities to step outside your job scope there is less accountability. It can be very challenging to find who does what and if they will continue to support that business function long term. Some teams are operating with a different sense of urgency than others, the blurry lines and lack of accountability are contributing factors and this can lead you to chase different people before ending up back where you started with no solution. Growing pains on many different teams and creates a lot of churn.
