Pros

Some of the most amazing people you’ll ever meet on the job… that’s cause you all relate to working at this dumpster fire. Managers/supervisors got holiday pay. Uhhhh that’s about it

Cons

Work/life balance was horrible. Any serious complaints or discussions that were had with the gm were met with “promises” which were quickly forgotten about or “never even discussed. The level of pettiness from upper management was insane. You say you’re putting your notice in and some are met with demotion and lack of hours during their final weeks of employment. Getting time off was a hassle because we weren’t ever staffed properly and almost every request of mine and others was denied. Anytime kitchen equipment broke or there was an issue was leaks with the old roof, all of these concerns would get brushed off until the health department makes their visit and we got dinged everywhere because of it. If you were someone who’s been there a long time….. expect to work every holiday. Sales loves to books parties with large menus day of with no head up which are always placed after our Sysco delivery deadline/drop of days which left me scrambling to go to the store to with no time to prepare for other day to day things. All the gm’s loved to feed you “promises” to keep you “happy” so they don’t have look for new people. We had no kitchen manager or “executive chef” for over half a year and all their responsibilities got thrown on me for no compensation through the time period and through our peak season. Prices for food are abysmal when you actually see how much it costs to make a platter of food compared to what they charge customers… it’s disgusting. Especially the sliders…

Pros

Nothing positive about this company

Cons

My experience was deeply disappointing and did not align with how the opportunity was presented. The onboarding process lacked basic planning and coordination. I was flown to Arizona for training without being provided the equipment necessary to perform the job. Shortly after, I was sent back home at the last minute to retrieve my laptop. This level of disorganization created avoidable stress and set the tone for the rest of the experience. The benefits package is extremely limited. There is no 401(k) match, and overall the offerings feel bare-bones compared to industry standards for similar roles. When asked to return company property, I was instructed to purchase my own shipping materials and complete the return process on my own unpaid time. After I declined to personally absorb those costs and administrative work, I was ultimately told I could keep the monitor. That interaction was disappointing and felt mismanaged. The role was presented as a Senior Recruiter position, but in practice functioned much more like a staffing role. Expectations and scope did not match the title. Additionally, venue turnover was reportedly below 40%, and leadership acknowledged there were no structured retention strategies in place to address it. Overall, I would not recommend this organization to experienced recruiting professionals seeking strategic impact, operational structure, or strong benefits.
