Like I said, you will meet some good people....and you will immediately bond and commiserate over how awful it is to work here. Everyone is overworked, unappreciated, and suffering from anxiety and depression. This past year the turnover was VERY high with people leaving left and right, and senior leadership still refused to acknowledge that the company culture is plagued with problems. The place is full of toxic people who want to win at all costs and be on top. Every department has an "us vs them" mentality and there is little to no real collaboration or healthy teamwork because everyone is so competitive.
The company keeps growing rapidly, with a tiny staff that can't keep up with all the demands. Everyone is so burned out and unhappy, and the horrible benefits are the icing on the cake. It's a slap in the face for the company to brag about how we've made millions in profit, and yet you can't even provide your workers some decent health insurance. The 401k matching percentage is laughably small, they offer no maternity/paternity leave, and you get zero personal days. They offer 3 weeks of vacation that must be accrued, and if you leave they do not pay out your vacation even though you've earned it through said accrual system.
The office is filthy and never cleaned. The equipment and technology is super outdated. Be prepared to work on a crappy laptop that barely connects to the slow WIFI. The servers are so slow you'll spend more time waiting for files to open than actually doing any work. Oh yeah, and your email inbox will immediately get full after your first few weeks and IT will refuse to give you anymore space. Yep, this is the decade they live in.
Don't drink the kool aid. They may be the largest bowling company in the world and their numbers and profits look really good, but it's so internally dysfunctional that it's not worth sacrificing your mental sanity. Take your talent elsewhere, you won't regret it.
