Pros

Convenient location, good food, friendly staff (employee's),

Cons

Worked at the location in Times Square and it proved to be the worst job I've held thus far. Corporate would hold meetings in the restaurant in Bowlmor and wouldn't tip, EVER! In the end we were taxed for tips, we didn't even make. Very shady business covering it's tracks. Very selective on what type of crowds they allow in their establishments. A little too selective from an inside perspective.

They hate their employees

Pros

Staff culture at my location specifically, really fun co-workers and on-site management, willing to work with your personal life schedule.

Cons

EVERYTHING else. The upper management (district and up) are the worst I've ever worked with. All this company cares about is upsale numbers on tertiary things like arcade cards and seasonal promotions. In recent years they've hired a ton of new DMs and RMs that all come from restaurant backgrounds, so that tells you the direction they're looking to move in. Their emphasis on a *temporary seasonal* promotion is so insane that the vice president of the company has been visiting centers telling GMs to fire employees who aren't hitting the sales goals on that temporary seasonal promotion. They don't care about bowling at all, just sales on promotions and food/bar items. I've never seen a business so hilariously apathetic towards the industry in which it operates (bowling). Pinnacle of greed, and if I didn't know any better I'd say it's a competitive sport for corporate employees to see how miserable they can make the job for in-center workers.

Toxic Environment

Pros

They had several prior to Covid until all great leaders either left of sold their souls.

Cons

They'll support toxic and insubordinate behaviors as long as it's still generating revenue and supporting their bottom line.
