      Dynamic work environment but IT feels unsupported

      Pros

      It's an up and coming organization, located in Calgary. The work is varied, dynamic and lots of work to sink one's teeth into. The co-workers are fun and good to get along with, the atmosphere is friendly and open. The time is flexible in the sense that you need to be available and get your work done.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, IT, as with lots of other organizations, isn't a priority for the organization; and it's felt. Little to no support from the leadership, poor staffing and unrealistic expectations all add to the stress of the position. -- While other positions are seeing growth, support and recognition, IT is left alone and unsupported. Very difficult situation. -- No recognition and no support is the main takeaway here.
