Demanding and Sometimes Meaningless - Typical of Oncology Pubs

Pros

Remote work; As an entry level writer, not too many meetings; Benefits and compensation were okay; projects could sometimes be interesting (graphical abstract and infographic work were cool); advancement to senior positions seemed typical and expected if you desire; my team was actually wonderful and supportive

Cons

Tedious and repetitive work for the most part, not very engaging (typical of medical writing in pubs); Very demanding and fast-paced, often working over 40 hours each week (and not compensated for that time), which is typical in oncology pubs; Time spent on projects were extremely micromanaged; Most projects were uninspiring and essentially following what was done before (again, typical for medical writing in pubs)
