Pretty much everything else... It’s been a chaotic 3 years. As an Account Director at CenturyLink formerly Level 3. I endured 5 Sales Directors in 2 years, account moves which disrupt progress, extreme favoritism shown to a select few, systems that are seriously broken, inaccurate commissions and micromanagement to the maximum during most of my tenure. Crazy me, I hoped it would get better after the merger. It hasn’t.

Hundreds laid off recently, trying to cost cut back to profitability, not willing to spend the money and effort to scrap old band-aid riddled systems and replace with new technologies. Also, Information Systems has become the focus of the organization, not customer service, products and employee growth. CTL core competency is not and should not be system development.
