Pros
Salary from an acquisition company remained the same. Some very knowledgeable, caring and hard working people still there. Home-based office works well. Work life balance left most evenings, weekends and holidays free from work. Company portion of 401k contributions are automatically vested.
Cons
Poor plan in 2015 to merge/integrate Savvis and CenturyLink Sales & Support teams. Much time and money wasted on ineffective, highly-paid consultants. Merger left no training for non-CenturyLink employees; we were left to fend for ourselves. Too many people think they know a lot when they really don't. Very poor expense reimbursement for mileage, no reimbursement for home workers internet service or other related home-based expenses.
