Pros

I liked my co-workers a lot and there are some very smart people. I learned a lot from them, but rarely were smart people promoted. Outside Monroe, people are mostly looking for other jobs or just putting up with the politics because they are tenured and have great benefits (many have 6 weeks of vacation now and good severance packages after being with the company for 20 years). One Pro is that they brought in a new COO and CMO in March 2016.. the hope is they will makes some changes for the better.

Cons

too many to list (see "advice to management for more info)... antiquated ordering/billing systems make this a dinosaur of a company. It's nearly impossible to launch products, fix problems or measure results accurately. I felt like I was banging my head against the wall. The cost to fix these issues is so exorbitant that all "migration" plans are eventually killed. Don't expect any level of training.

Pros

The people I directly work with are great as are most of the employees and managers, who are personable and approachable. I am not micro managed at all in my position.

Cons

Where to start. We offer a completely terrible customer experience. I have not seen a single smooth implementation in the 2+ years I have been here. They told us in January that the number one focus is to improve our customer experience and two months later they announce we are not hitting our quarterly number so we will have to lay people off, just like they did last time and the time before etc. Leadership embodies the definition of insane; keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results. And then there's the suspicious behavior of never getting anyone's commission check correct and always in their favor. It is so complex that us engineers can't understand it so we are pretty sure they hired the same folks that wrote the US tax code, just to make sure they could keep money back without being caught, which I suspect they believe provides shareholder value. In fact it's not that hard to understand, it's just impossible see how it is calculated and how to prove it one way or the other. They are also the cheapest company I have ever worked for. Being questioned about mileage charges and meals and then having to complete both a spreadsheet and an online form in a secure system with exactly the same information. It's as though they want to make travel hard so you just don't do it.

Pros

Great Benefits, great PTO plan, great co-worker's. Constant change in working environment, room to learn and grow personally and professionally. Training is excellent, especially sales training. Clients were incredible to work with especially in the indirect retail aspect of the job.

Cons

Under valued and Under Paid. No clue where monthly objectives came from nor would anybody within the company coudl explain how they came up with objectives. Decreased commissions year after year and increased objectives. Constant micro-mangement. More reports then time in the field to constantly bind you to your office.
