      Good product line with enough diversity to survive ups and downs in individual areas Good pay and benefits Bright, competent, energetic workforce

      Cons

      Very reactive and tactical; CEO micro-manages revenue and drives a flurry of activity, everyone involved complains about this aspect Life balance always talked about as an area to improve, but just seems to get worse and worse. When evenings were getting too full of overseas calls, more continued to be added in early mornings Not enough growth to offer much career advancement

      none really.. the company has really "devolved" since the separation from JDSU. IT leadership is at an all time low despite the many strong people

      Cons

      COMPLETELY operational. there is no growth, no exposure to anything new, and certainly no cutting edge technology. This is the last company that belongs in silicon valley

      Thank you for your feedback. Operationally, this has been both a challenging and exciting time for Lumentum as we successfully executed a substantial spin-off from JDSU. As we move forward we definitely see our company improving in regard to its stability and effectiveness, a welcome change to the more difficult mode following the spin-off.

      They don’t know what they’re selling one week to the next. The company has laid off so many people that’s it’s hard to get your work done
