Pros

-Free snacks -Weekly lunches -Zero cost for medical insurance

Cons

-Terrible leadership -Horrible communication -No chance at internal growth (They play favorites from day one. If you are not one, they will push you out) -No training AT ALL (they set you up to fail) -When trying to give leadership feedback, it gets shrugged off with no concern -Unethical business strategies (This is VERY concerning being an INSURANCE brokerage) Please do yourself a favor and do NOT consider working at Lumity. It will be the worst decision you ever make and you will either end up getting fired for no reason or quit after 3 months because you can no longer take the abuse. Oh yeah, there are a ton of blowups on the floor. You may just get yelled at in front of your coworkers for just doing your job by the management team. It's very unethical and immoral. It's not worth it. Please listen to this review because it might just save you the torment that you could face.

I'm going to personally respond to this allegation because this person does not deserve the right to slander any company in this way. I am sorry this person feels the pain and injustice of being in an environment where they felt unheard or felt there was an unethical practice. That simply wasn't the case and is not the case now. To anyone reading this review, if you would like an open and honest assessment of our culture please come in and talk to myself, our CEO, or anyone on our management team directly.

Pros

I do not have 5 words for Pros and Glassdoor doesn't let me post the review if I do not have 5 words.

Cons

A bunch of unprofessional and rude people in the management, who will make you work like hell. Join this company if you do not have a life outside work. Join this company if you want to interact daily with some people who would smile at you, but would stab you from behind. I am happy that I am gonna leave this company soon. My little piece of advice :- Even when you are jobless and are struggling to pay your bills, do not even think of joining here. You are going to regret soon.

Customer first, everything else second

Pros

Lumity puts the customer first no matter what. Our teams will work day and night (and weekend) to ensure that they have the best experience possible. This energy drives a lot of the work that we do and makes it easy to feel like you're making a positive impact for the customer. There is a lot of opportunity for growth if you have the drive, discipline & maturity to access it. Hard work is rewarded and management pushes you to achieve what many would deem impossible. We are lucky to work with some of the biggest, most innovative names in tech and we've never lost a customer. Speaks volumes to the type of service we provide them. If you're motivated to crush corruption and make a positive difference in healthcare, you should explore roles at Lumity.

Cons

Working this hard all the time can have a negative impact on culture & on the quality of work employees are able to produce.
