Pros

Luna is one of those rare places where the mission actually shows up in the day-to-day work. It’s fast-paced and ambitious, but never chaotic or ego-driven. People care about what they’re building, and more importantly, who it helps. Cross-functional collaboration is strong—you’ll regularly interact with product, ops, clinical, and exec teams. There's a real appetite for data-driven thinking and big-picture strategy. Leadership is sharp but approachable. I’ve grown more here in a year than I did in three at my last job. Also: zero tolerance for jerks, which is refreshing.

Cons

It’s a startup, so pace and ambiguity are part of the deal. Not the place for folks who need a fully built playbook or 9-to-5 vibes. But if you like solving messy problems and making things better, you’ll be into it.

Pros

One of the reasons I love working for Luna is because they give you the autonomy and trust to drive real meaningful changes. They also embody a blameless culture, that is very evident when working through post-mortems. This is helpful because it helps encourage knowledge sharing, and removes the fear of speaking up when something goes wrong. Luna does a good job at trusting the employees to get the work done, while managing just enough so that they aren't micromanaged. Employee's are well entrusted to build products, lead large efforts in collaboration with the product team, and then get that work shipped to our end users.

Cons

Projects are always changing and so are priorities. It is important to be adaptable and understanding as things change! The engineering team is fully remote, but we do have meetups, just not frequently as a lot of us would like! Despite being remote, management has put a lot of effort into allowing us tools for pair programming and has helped break down silos.
