Pros

Great PR and branding. Nice people.

Cons

A mess. Mid level management is super unprofessional. Lots of decision changes after work has been done. Tends to use cutting edge techs, but hiring the wrong people to work and build infra on top of it. Lots of money wasting for unnecessary infra and premium products. Organogram doesn't make any sense.

Pros

Cutting edge technologies Ten bis Great location and office

Cons

Unknown future - frequent layoffs, decreasing number of teams, R&D team leaders who are now developers again. The management layer is not fully dedicated and connected to the teams and to the product. NO WORK-LIFE BALANCE! People are working late hours and during weekends.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feelings with us and for the constructive feedback. As you know, we recently went through an organizational restructure in order to tackle challenges we were facing in the delivery org mainly because of the hyper growth we went through in the past 2 years or so (from 30 ppl to 140 ppl). The goal of this change is to increase velocity, to improve quality of delivery and to better focus the teams on business objectives. Reducing the staff and the number of managers was a necessary step to make sure decisions are taken faster and require less managers involved in every step and to make sure teams are more autonomous in order to increase speed of delivery. Change is never easy and it will take some time to see the results of this change but we should not be afraid of changing when things don’t work well. As you know, we recently ran an employee survey, whose results were presented to all employees, that showed very good work-life balance in the R&D department. Despite this, we constantly monitor the issue and try to improve frequently. Beyond that, today more than ever, we invest in implementing new technologies, training and development, and building professional development paths. In any case, we take your feedback seriously and intend to learn from it moving forward. Shai Gottesdiener VP R&D at Lusha

Poor, incompetent management

Pros

Very few. Nice location. Good people, shame that not many and those usually leave after a relatively short period.

Cons

Micromanagement. Zero employee trust. Zero transparency. Not a single long term plan - new projects open and close every month. Constant unnecessary re-org. Teams with 1 or 2 team members, with redundant management layer. Poor development practices. No time dedicated for optimizations and technical debt. Questionable business.
