Pros

Co-workers are great, consultations with colleagues are welcome, receptionists are welcoming, patients are wonderful. Great community to work in. Possibility of gaining lots of hands on work experience.

Cons

Non-clinical management making senior management decisions in BH department. Lack of communication between senior/administrative management to employees. Difficult to boost morale when no one trusts you or your work ethic. Absurd expectations which seems close to exploitation. They scale it as that's is why you get paid more than the average. Management really doesn't care about self care.

Good salary and nice co-workers.

Cons

Hierarchical. Management (non-clinical) makes clinical decisions about patients without required training. Micromanagement. Co-workers morale is low. No recognition from management. More clinical staff thinking to leave as soon they find a better opportunity.

people i worked with were nice.

Cons

my hands were tied to do my job. i had to go through supervisor instead of calling co-worker with a problem or question directly. supervisor would get to it when he could. i never understood that. direct communication would have made all our jobs run smoother and faster, no training for front desk/ check-in staff. medical billers have been doing tasks front desk workers should have done. very stressful. supervisors didn't have their teams backs. only wanted bodies there.
