Pros

There are some really good people, and their market is very hot right now which results in a fast-paced working environment, and incredible opportunity for the company to make major profits.

Cons

The overall management philosophy is broken, inconsistent, and outdated. There is a lot of internal competition between business units which could be cultivated positively, but is instead used to pit people against each other resulting in an incredible amount of backstabbing and negativity. People that work here (including managers that need to hire people) are very reluctant to refer people they know and like due to how bad this place is to work.

Pros

Flexible work from home policy.

Cons

Before COVID the company prioritized hard work and commonality. During COVID, HR and Leadership pivoted hard to DEI, emphasizing differences and creating a lot of awkward employee interactions. Company set diversity goals that are essentially quotas so it’s easy to get promoted if you fit those boxes and impossible if you don’t. Company prides itself on being lean which really just means it’s employees have to work harder but they only aim to pay average for the area. It’s a great place if you like to work hard and have job security but less so if you like to be rewarded for hard work or want to work in a meritocracy. I hear company also ignored employee input and decided to move its main office to somewhere that nobody wants to work.

Pros

Great Bonus A few great people to work with at the staff level

Cons

1) From direct personal observation and experience, the company is extremely hostile to disabled people. Don't work here if you expect it to be otherwise no matter what they claim. If you are still set on working here, DO NOT put disabled on your job application and hide it as long as you can. Honestly, don't bother. They don't want you and will make your life hell if you seek an accomodation. 2) If you try to fix a problem, you will be fought at every turn. If you end up having to go outside the company for solutions, they will unleash the most potent legal forces against you. You have no chance. They will spend a million to fight fixing a small problem or pay out a wronged employee 10k. They want it this way so no one challenges them. From a business standpoint, I understand their goal of "deterrence", but they should fix things before it gets to that point. 3) Backstabbing is the culture. I don't know if it was designed this way on purpose, but it's the natural result of how employees are paid and promoted. You WILL be undercut by your coworkers so they can get a better raise and bonus. Sometimes you'll even get terminated as a direct result of lies coming from coworkers. 4) Management is awful. They won't have your back under any circumstances. In fact, they will throw you under the bus for a few extra bucks in their bonus package. There may be exceptions, but not many. 5) They present an image that is a complete lie. Don't believe any of the social responsibility and employee first propaganda. They don't do what they say they do. 6) Most already know this and expect it, but HR is horrific. I can't emphasize enough how bad they are. DO not trust ANY of them. In fact, stay as far away form them as you can. Since HR has gone through so much turnover, it's clear that the executive leadership WANTS sociopathic HR personnel. They keep hiring the same types for a reason. In short, if you want your life ruined, by all means work here. If you have any decency at all, don't work here. If you currently work here, get out before you become like the rest.
