Pros
Very strong team dynamic on my team, and decent starting compensation. I have heard from others on different teams that my team is unusually close! I enjoy going to the office because of my team.
Cons
My first week, I was told by my manager that the Wilmington office had limited career growth opportunities. What that means is that if you get unlucky with your manager (I did) you won't get a raise/promoted, no matter how hard you work. On the tech side -- old tech stacks, slow business processes. There's not much of an incentive to improve the developer experience especially. Biweekly afterhours deployments that take too long and bleed into your weekend. Management says terms like "agile" and "CI/CD" without truly implementing them. What do you expect? It's a bank.
