      Pros

      I can't think of any other than the fact that I needed a job and it pays a couple of bills. Nowhere as much as it should considering how much abuse we receive from upset customers and poor management. Working there it's about who you know. Not what you know. For someone who is not a part of the "in crowd" you won't last long. Nor will you want to.

      Cons

      They have lied to us from day 1. Telling us that we'd have every other weekend off. They treat you as criminals, and micro-manage to every small detail. How hard is it to take phone calls? They nitpick on numbers generated for your daily calls. Then want to write you up and terminate you because they never taught nor advised you about these until it was too late

      - interview process wasn't terrible - friendly management

      Cons

      - terrible work hours - management was FRIENDLY, esp during the hiring and training process but once you're on the job they seem to distance themselves

      Pros

      Decent pay and benefits for the Western NY area. They respect the employees and try really hard not to overstaff, which could cause layoffs during downturns. Very competent management team throughout. If you make it into management here, you have to be good at what you do.

      Cons

      Budget and forecasting for projects needs serious work, it's a convoluted process that forces people to estimate projects with very little requirements. As a result, the estimates are often very far off and then people get slammed because of it. Health care coverage is not that good, but don't know how it compares to other banks in the area.
