Pros

Some of the people are wonderful to work with. Opportunity within other LVMH masons.

Cons

Overall business sales strategy and sales support is the worst I’ve seen in the beauty business. Some VPs barely know how to use basic Microsoft office suite applications. One of the VPs must be a protected person to still have a job with the company post-pandemic. The brand has been on an ongoing downhill trajectory since parting ways with the brand founder.

Pros

Decent pay for a retail artistry environment. Opportunities to learn techniques are great even for seasoned artists.

Cons

Management has been consistently poor since they opened the doors (this complaint has gone on for years which is why I hesitated to apply). Respect and fair treatment for employees who out perform others is not there. They cross many personal boundaries without just cause and cannot support their expectations or behavior with proper documentation. High turn over due to constant penalization for personal differences (or preferences depending on how you look at it). Productivity is only rewarded to favorites. The boutique is also very small, there is no break room, eating facilities or bathroom so be prepared to spend a lot of personal money to eat at this high end mall and running across the mall to use other stores restrooms. Secret shoppers are not a bad thing but they do not inform employees that they (MUFE) actually employs them and they come in with body cameras (personal violation). Growth opportunities are lean.

Pros

You are very connected to the entire organization, whether you live in NYC or LA. Corporate is also very connected to the field, which makes you feel a lot more connected to the organization rather than just your store.

Cons

Be prepared to work a lot, yet have a lot of fun. It is a smaller business so you are expected to wear many different hats. I didn't mind it and enjoyed learning different aspect of the business, although if you are only wanting to do what is in your job description this may not be the company for you.
