Pros

Salary for entry level folk is great.

Cons

But when people with 10-20 years experience are getting hired at $10-15K more, it shows they don't value experience and won't offer salary increases readily. Benefits are awful, because the incompetent maniacal HR person wants to appease remote employees. Training is nonexistent. I had hopes for it when they hired a knowledgeable training manager, but lost confidence when they fired her for no reason two months later. Replacements are doing nothing to advance us. Management hides behind doors and doesn't listen to lineworkers. No place to eat except your desk or car (unhealthy). Expected to work OT without compensation.

Pros

Good health benefits, stock options. Not much good about this position.

Cons

Weekend work is required but not compensated and potential employees are not made aware of this requirement. No work life balance, you are expected to work whenever they feel the pressure from a client of a hard deadline and the employees are in no way compensated for the additional time and stress. Upper management has no clue on how to retain employees, they have a highly concerning turn-over rate. No room for growth, do not expect a raise, if you ask you will be replaced immediately without warning. Immature middle management staff. They do not even have a mission statement and if they do it remains hidden behind close doors like management.

Pros

CEO is a good guy Most employees are nice to work with Good overtime Average Benefits

Cons

- The software you support is overly complex, considering the pay. - If you enjoy constant headaches/migraines this is the place for you. - Yes this is a support job, but it feels like you are trying to fix a sinking ship with many holes and your only tool is a Dixie cup. (For every one thing that is fixed, 3 more pieces break) - You will not advance. - CFO is cheap, which means management is not allowed to give raises so don't expect one. - Poor management decisions. - No real training put into place, but in fairness it is a very difficult product to train new hires on.
