Poor company and contract management
Pros
Ok pay for the job. Many coworkers so work load is good.20 days of leave. Last year the company gave a $100 and $400 bonus to every one for Christmas. Before was $50. Can wear jeans. People move around to other jobs. 401k. Company tries to keep medical costs down.
Cons
Raise is once a year and is 3% for every one even people that don’t work. No other raise or bonus. New people don’t know much and good people leave. Poor management of jobs so we work the same job for different reason. Small desks. Bad parking. Senior manager is great guy but usually not there and doesn’t do anything for us because he is “hands off”. Just another job for a paycheck nothing special. Not all holidays paid. Poor dental benefits. Company emails with perks are for Virginia. Not all groups have the same hours. This year at Christmas we got an email about how great and profitable the company is doing and a Merry Christmas. No bonus. Then we get told to not show up to work in January. Some contract pay problem. Told us to use our leave until they get it figured out. If you have no leave, no pay. So the employee is out in the cold but the people in Virginia probably do not have to use PTO to get paid. Company sold in 2022. They said no changes, but that is not true.
